Thanari - Arts & Events Center
The Thanari Kunst-Werk-Hof is located in the beautiful Prignitz exactly between Hamburg and Berlin and easy to reach from A24.
Since May 2019 Katharina Sigel (before Ariel Micale was heping a lot in this Project) is owner and builder of this ingenious homestead that offers to every visitor a number of possibilities and the space and the fresh air needed for their thoughts, fantasies and ideas to materialize here, or even to dream their dreams.
We ourselves work ceaselessly to maintain and build our dream – to create a place for art lovers, creatives, families and celebrations that offers both an artistic ambience and a place for rest and relaxation.

Since 2021, with the help of friends, we have equipped the 200m2 open barn with a dinghy/sailboat as a DJ booth overlooking the most wonderful sunsets and with 100m2 of the finest dance floor.
Since then we offer tango events, art markets as well as art workshops. For company parties, children’s birthdays, weddings and the like. You can find space you need there, as well as in our 80m2 studio and also in an extra barn, which is still to be expanded.
In front of the barn there is a 1.5 hectare large very sunny field where you can play, camp, park and party or relax in the bed, the sun platform and the deck chairs located at the cornfield.
Next to the barn is our spacious bar with sofa, tables and armchairs overlooking a piece of field and our newly designed outdoor kitchen with “Pipo”, the clay oven. Here the most delicious pizzas in the world are prepared by Ariel Micale.
The facility includes both dry toilets, outdoor showers (at the moment with only sun-warm water) and a toilet trailer with 2 women’s toilets, a men’s toilet and 2 urinals and sinks. A wood-heated hot tub is available for use at smaller events.
Hot water showers and an indoor shower area are in the works. For this we are collecting donations with our crowdfunding this year. If enough money is collected, we can already provide hot showers for the Tango event!
Costs are about 2,500 – 3000 Euro (concrete screed, plastering walls, connection to organic sewage treatment plant and hot water system with 4 showers).
